Welcome to il Museo at the Italian Cultural Centre! Come explore Vancouver’s first museum devoted to the story of Italian-Canadians in the lower mainland. Our newly-renovated modern space features displays on all aspects of Italian-Canadian life. Our fully bilingual exhibitions reveal the rich texture of social and work life. We’ve opened our archive to find objects and documents that examine the voyage of immigration with visual and written records.
Dynamic and bright our exhibitions are ever-changing – you will find something new at every visit -- art, sculpture, photos, artifacts and digital displays.
The Italian Cultural Centre also features outdoor exhibits: a full-sized Venetian Gondola and a Sicilian cart can be viewed on the grounds. Enjoy a self-guided walking tour of the Centre’s architecture and grounds with our “A Piedi” brochure.

Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Cinema
Enjoy films in the museum! Our state of the art projection equipment allows us to show films on the silver screen. Enjoy vintage and modern cinema in a cozy ambiance.

Private Groups
Book a guided tour! Groups can register for a private viewing with the curator. Minimum 10 person group -- $30. Please call one week ahead to assure availability!

Archive
Our archive will be a repository for documentary information that will be used for the purposes of research. We will conserve photos, minute books, programs, newspapers, interviews, journals, letters and memoirs, as well as any other document deemed important. If you have documents you wish to donate please contact us!
