The Vancouver Italian Folk Choir - 40th Anniversary!
The VIFC will be performing on September 25 and 26 in Seattle for Italian days which is an annual event which includes many performances, vendors and lots of food. At the Seattle Space Needle.
The Italian Folk Choir is celebrating our 40th Anniversary with a banquet on October 22, 2010 at the Italian Centre, tickets are being printed and will be for sale in the near future.
40th Anniversary Concert at Michael J. Fox Theatre on Sunday October 24, a fund raiser is in progress for the event and anyone who would like to make a donation to the choir can do so by getting in touch with the choir President Mario Castellani at 604 291 9948.
An Evening of Italian Duets from the Operas of Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti & Verdi This concert will be performed on Tuesday, August 10 at St. Augustine's Church featuring Soprano Michelle Koebke and Baritone Andrew Greenwood. 2028 West 7th Avenue at 8pm. Admission $20 at the door.
Windows To Arcadia: 17th Century Italian Songs Based on the poetry of Guarini as set by Monteverdi, Caccini and d'India; performed on period instruments with a cast of 8 spectacular singers.
