Welcome to the Italian Cultural Centre School!

Our objective is to offer Italian language courses that inspire a strong passion in the community for our language, cultural traditions, and for our land of origin.  For these reasons, it is our intention to continually liven the study of Italian and make it dynamic through exciting activities and innovative programs and events.

We pride ourselves on 30 years of expertise in the teaching of the Italian language and culture to children, youth and adults.  Our teachers have an extensive educational background and many years of professional experience in teaching Italian to foreigners.  In addition, they make use of the latest teaching materials.

Since 1977, when the school first opened, we have been committed to providing a comfortable learning environment.  In emphasizing student – teacher interaction in the classroom, we maintain class enrollment in the range of a minimum number of 8 students to a maximum of 16.  This facilitates easy assimilation of the language in a short time.  In recognition of our students’ learning commitment, the Italian Cultural Centre issues a certificate of attendance to each student upon course completion.

Furthermore, the Italian Cultural Centre affords its learners great flexibility and choice as courses are offered from Monday through Saturday both on and off site.  In offering an extensive curriculum throughout the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer sessions, our pupils can enjoy a seamless consistency in their Italian language education.  Adults may select evening classes during the week and morning classes on Saturdays.  Parents may choose to enroll their children in Saturday morning/afternoon courses or during the week days in our after school program at various public and catholic school locations throughout the Lower Mainland.
