Some prior knowledge is recommended for this Italian class. Participants focus on building basic conversational skills in Italian. Activities include:

Developing listening and speaking confidence through guided dialogues, role-plays, videos
-
Expanding basic vocabulary and phrases in context
-
Encouraging participation in simple conversations with classmates
The goal is for students to communicate in simple situations and feel more comfortable using Italian in everyday interactions. ​No textbook is required. Students will be provided with handouts and class materials​

​Participants must have an Intermediate-Advanced level of Italian.
This 6-week Italian conversation course will focus on Italian cinema and literature, keeping conversations lively and engaging as we explore different themes, historical periods, and content related to both.

CONVERSATION 2

June 3 - July 8, 2026​​​​​

Students must have completed at least the Intermediate 1 level. In this class, students focus on improving fluency and confidence in Italian conversations.
Activities include:

Discussing current events, culture, and everyday topics

Practicing more complex dialogues and expressing opinions

Expanding vocabulary and idiomatic expressions
-
Engaging in listening and speaking exercises to enhance comprehension and conversation skills
The goal is for students to participate actively in discussions and communicate more naturally in Italian.
This 6-week program has been created to fulfill the need of practicing the knowledge of Italian acquired in our regular classes.

​Requirement: Completion of Beginner 3
or equivalent knowledge.

Enjoy a coffee or a cup of tea with Stefania, and practice Italian with fellow classmates... all from the comfort and coziness of your own home! This is a conversational Italian course designed for students who want to gain confidence in speaking about a variety of topics, while reinforcing their foundational language skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Speak more naturally about a wide range of everyday and cultural topics

Review and strengthen essential and high-frequency vocabulary

Participate in guided discussions

Consolidate fundamental grammatical structures introduced in beginner courses

Explore Italian culture
