About the event
With over 1.5 million people of Italian descent in Canada, our community has helped shape everything from food and fashion to music, politics, and family life.
Italian Heritage Month is also a time to reflect. We remember those who came before us—who worked hard, built new lives, and kept our traditions alive. And we also acknowledge the difficult parts of history, like the internment of Italian Canadians during WWII. Today, we stand proud of our past, our culture, and how far we’ve come.
So, whether you have Italian roots or just a love for the culture, we invite you to celebrate with us all month long!
